New York, NY (January 24, 2014) — It was announced today that longtime Travel Leaders Group executive J. D. O’Hara has been named as President of Tzell Travel Group (www.tzell.com). With annual sales volume of approximately $2 billion largely from corporate, entertainment and luxury travel, Tzell is the largest wholly-owned travel agency unit of the $18 billion Travel Leaders Group. O’Hara will continue to report directly to Travel Leaders Group CEO Barry Liben in his new capacity. Liben continues in his role as CEO of Tzell Travel Group.

O’Hara first joined Travel Leaders Group at its inception in 2008 to lead its corporate development efforts, with one of his first accomplishments being the acquisition of Tzell. Prior to joining Travel Leaders Group, Mr. O’Hara had served in the investment banking industry in New York, advising clients in mergers and acquisitions, and other capital market transactions.
